As well as providing our usual friendly greeting, customers will also notice a few changes around the dealership as we have introduced some new measures to meet all government guidelines on social distancing and sanitation.
There is an appointment booking process in place to help limit the number of people in the showroom at any one time and we ask that all customers only visit our dealership with a pre-booked appointment. On arrival there will be hand sanitisers, social distancing markers and where appropriate a touch free environment to ensure a safe visit.
All surfaces, keys and cars will be cleaned regularly to ensure customers are in a safe and sanitised environment and all test drives will be unaccompanied.
We will still be able to offer a full range of traditional face to face appointments as we have installed protective screens at all customer facing desks to ensure maximum protection for our staff and customers. Alternatively we can offer contactless options for Sales and Service customers.
We continue to offer unaccompanied test drives from our premises but in addition you can now purchase your next vehicle from the comfort of your own home using our new Click & Collect online buying service.
Throughout our premises we have implemented the Government guideline of maintaining 2 metres distance between people. In order to best achieve this we have adapted our premises through the use of a one way system and marked zones for queuing. We therefore ask that our customers observe these measures to ensure their own safety and the safety of those around them and apologise if this causes any inconvenience at all.
We have analysed common touch points and the flow of personal items such as keys and driving licence and credit cards during a customer visit and have implemented the following measures to ensure that they are protected and transferred as little as possible:
Thankfully many vehicles operate using keyless start, therefore when dropping off your vehicle for servicing the key will be placed in a sealed bag whilst in our possession. Where this isn't an option or work is required on the key itself then we will handle the key with protective gloves and thoroughly clean it before placing it back in the bag.
Should we require proof of ID at all then with your permission we will take a digital copy, print a copy to be retained for our records and delete the digital copy.

We have installed hand sanitising stations throughout our dealership in both customer and staff areas and encourage all our staff to wash their hands with soap and water as often as possible for at least 20 seconds at a time.
